As I read various gamers’ tweets, I can’t help but wonder how they have the time to play all these wonderful deep games. So, as some informal research, check out the poll over on the right about what activity do you sacrifice the most to make time for gaming? If it varies, select your current situation.

I think it’s sleeping, but lately -the past 2 or three years, actually- I haven’t been playing that many games. studying comes a close second though. Oh, and have a stack of unfinished games lying around.
Since I moved to playing primarily on consoles, I’m buying more games and finishing fewer of them. And not because I necessarily want to quit playing. I can’t even fit in retro gaming.
I’ve told myself I won’t buy any more games until I finish at least 5 of the ones I have.
a cunning plan sire. i on the other hand am hoping for a swift ending to my phd adventure and most probably will be facing quite a few months of unemployment, so I guess I’ll find the time. nice. sort of, really.
In order to play games, I need to work my ass off to get the current week’s coded game finished. I’ve trapped myself into an annoying little corner, and seem to be losing my playtime.
Not that it seems to matter. As much fun as I’ve had over the many years of gaming, I was never really that much of a gamer anyway. I’ve still got Amstrad CPC games that were barely started!
.. Not that that ever stops me from buying new games, mind. I’m still a sucker for “NEW GAME!!!”
